SHEQ Administrator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a SHEQ Administrator to join the
Seddon on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The role will be
providing support with collating reports, procedures, technical writing,
process mapping, updating necessary databases, conducting internal audits
and supporting the SHE Advisors and Quality and Compliance Manager.

What you’ll do
• Generation of Management Systems, process charts, procedures and
other documents (generally drafted by others) in both hard copy and
electronic form for publishing to the company intranet
• Document and information control for the Seddon Management
• Launch to and update the Seddon Management Systems element of
the company intranet
• Provide assistance in the ongoing up keep of the Seddon
Management System on the company intranet
• Administer and input data into the Audit findings tracking information
generated from all internal and external audits (BV and other
• Controlling the process of the Sub contractor/supplier approval and
performance reviews
• COSHH Administration
• Administer KPI’s including expediting the information and generating
reports to published dates
• Provide assistance with the generation of reports
• Checking the Safety, Health and Environmental legislation is up to
date and issue for information when needed
• Maintain the department intranet (s) page
• Create & maintain site sustainability reports for the site energy
consumption and the site waste production throughout project lifetimes
• Accident inputting and storage of data
• Offer support to sites when registered to CCS
• Keeping record of live job updates
• Adding new starters onto SHEQ induction
The above job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will
be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within
the scope of the role.

Have you got what it takes?
• Significant experience in formatting documents and Excel
• Must be able to work independently and manage and prioritise
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Focused, professional telephone manner at all times
• Provide ongoing administration and support to the SHEQ team.
