Sally-Ann Smith will join a panel discussion on Building blocks: Different routes into industry and steps to success at the event, Kat Healey will join a panel discussion on Gender matters: The business case for gender parity and how we can achieve it and Duncan Williams will join a panel discussion on Man up: How men can be allies and help to increase gender parity at the event, which takes place on 25 September 2018 at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Inspire Summit is an annual conference and exhibition that brings people working in the construction, engineering and housing sectors together to explore how to make the industries more diverse and inclusive.
As well as looking at how to attract and retain more women in the sectors, the conference addresses the skills shortage and how to encourage more young people to consider a career in construction, engineering, and housing.
The day includes a busy schedule of engaging presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, lively debates, and hands-on activities for businesses and organisations, as well as sessions specifically targeted at students and apprentices.
Joe Broun, the founder of Inspire Summit, said: “We’re delighted to have 3 professionals from Seddon involved with our conference. It’s so important for us to have industry leaders like Duncan Williams, Kat Healey, and Sally-Ann Smith joining in the discussions to drive solutions and help strengthen and future-proof the industries. Last year’s event was a huge success, and we’re looking forward to holding an even bigger and better conference this year thanks to the support of Seddon.”
