Seddon has been awarded a place on Wigan City Council’s £4m framework for the provision of mechanical works across the region.
The new framework has seen the council procure a panel of contractors to be assigned to the mechanical and associated works framework over a four-year period. The contract will be open for use to all council departments and schools within the Wigan borough.
Seddon was successful in its application for inclusion on both Lots 1 and 2, with Lot 1 covering the value of up to £100,000 and Lot 2 £100,000 to £250,000.
Following a competitive tender involving over 20 applicants, Seddon was awarded both places based on the quality, social value and price of the applications submitted.
Rob Moss, director of Engineering Services at Seddon said “This framework win reflects our proven track record with similar council led schemes. We have no doubt that our dedicated team will ensure that any work carried out is delivered to an exceptional standard, and we look forward to contributing to the development of key sites across Wigan.”
