Seddon has been appointed on a £5m contract by Peel to complete the refurbishment of The Victoria at Salford Quays.
The project on the 23-year old building will include an overhaul of its M&E, alongside modernisation and remodelling of offices, reception, and common areas.
It will bring 80,000 sq ft back to the market in Salford Quays with floorplates of around 16,000 sq ft over nine storeys after the exit of the building’s two main tenants, Bupa and WSP.
John Shannon, Property Services Director at Seddon commented: “This is a highly sought-after location for office space and we are very pleased to be part of the team to revitalise it so that more businesses can make the move to MediaCityUK.”
Tim Taylor, leasing manager for Peel Land and Property, said: “With the increasing popularity of MediaCityUK as a leading work environment in the North West, this is a perfect time to be bringing this iconic development back to the market.
“With large floor plates of over 16,000 sq. ft., and a linked secure multi-storey car park, it’s ideally placed to appeal to large space users looking for quality office space.”
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
