Liverpool-based Procure North West has announced Seddon as a new delivery partner on its £400m Lite and Services framework, which aims to improve current routes to market for projects worth under £1m.
Seddon has been successful in securing a place on each of the five regional lots in the framework, which cover Cumbria, Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire, and Merseyside. Each of these is for projects worth between £50,000 and £1m.
There is also a separate services framework, comprising of regional and mechanical work for projects worth £50,000-£10m.
Project awards under the framework, which will run until 2022, will be based on 30% cost and 70% quality. Schemes will cover a wide range of public bodies and buildings including schools, NHS bodies, leisure providers, housing associations, libraries and colleges.
John Shannon, director at Seddon said: “It is a great time to be a North West based business with productivity and growth in the region at an all-time high, and it is frameworks and initiatives like this that are helping to build such a strong local economy.
“It’s hugely rewarding for us to have won a place on all three of Procure North West’s recent frameworks. This framework in particular is pushing the boundaries of how procurement can support public sectors bodies.
“Our team has a wealth of experience with work of this standard and we look forward to supporting the delivery of the regions capital projects over the next four years.”
