Since 2000, we have recruited 407 apprentices and our retention rate is 97%, but our commitment to training for the industry started much earlier, and since 1937 Seddon has helped over 3,567 people start their career in construction.
Seddon annually employs apprentices of all ages, supporting them as they work towards an advanced level apprenticeship or Higher Degree Qualification. Practical work-related tasks, which develop the skills and knowledge to do the job effectively, are supplemented by short courses and training is undertaken on a day release and block release basis through local colleges and universities, usually over a period of 3 to 5 years
