Builder and developer Seddon is inviting its staff, suppliers and people it does business with to vote for its charity of the year for 2015.
The company, with offices in Bolton, Stoke, Birmingham and Bristol raised more than £77,000 last year for a number of charities making each vote cast worth more than £100.
The national firm’s 700 staff across its regions will go to the ballot box on Friday, October 24, with visitors to its offices on the day also having the opportunity to influence the decision.
Voters will have eight charities to choose from: Help for Heroes, Alzheimer’s Society, Shelter, RSPCA, Age UK, Scope, Cancer Research UK or Barnardos.
Jonathan Seddon, Managing Director of Seddon, said: "Every single vote cast on the day counts and could see the charity nominated receive thousands in donations over the course of the year.
"We wanted to put that incredible power back into the hands of our employees, suppliers and the people we do business with as we work as a team to raise funds and support our charitable partner for 2015.”
The company’s annual ‘Wear it Pink’ event will also be held on polling day as it raises money and awareness for breast cancer, a cause it supports every year in addition raising funds for its chosen charity.
